Welcome to my site.
I have a couple of hacks posted, and hopefully more to come. First and foremost I built a heated motorcycle vest. This was more of a proof of concept, but it lasted two seasons of riding. Lately I built a new one, this was a full coat. It now has a lighted switch and a motor speed control to vary the amount of heat. This makes a huge difference for chilly nights, not cold but not comfortable.
A different hack that I did recently is adding a mute switch to a scala rider bluetooth headset. This headset clips onto a motorcycle helmet and it has amazing noise cancleation. You can have a conversation easily even in a very noisy environment. The only problem is I end up needing to be on company conference calls during my comute. And if you have ever been on conference calls you know how distacting it is to have someone with an unmuted phone.
Last but not least, the bee trap. It worked, it used things I already had, and it only took a couple hours to get it up and running.
